With over 60yrs combined experience in both the signage industry and franchising, Signarama offers an exceptional training and support programme designed to get you off to a fast start and continuous support for all your business needs. At Signarama, we not only employ some of the world’s leading sign experts, but also some of the world’s leading franchising experts. That means that it is only by attending the Signarama training programme, that you connect with some of the most experienced people in the business right at your fingertips.

When you invest in the award-winning Signarama franchise brand, you are provided five weeks of the most comprehensive and extensive training programmes in the industry.

Part One - Training Session at World Headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida – (Two Weeks)

As a franchisee in training, your introduction to the Signarama training program begins with a two-week introductory training program held in West Palm Beach, FL at the most advanced training facility in the industry.

The newly built 1,200 sqm facility boasts state-of-the-art signage equipment, computer training classrooms, a stadium seating lecture theatre, showroom replicas, fully-equipped production rooms as well as a full staff of training specialists who use proven training techniques to provide every Signarama franchisee the knowledge that helps put them at an advantage.

The training facility is located on the Signarama world headquarters campus, providing you an in-depth look at the organisation as well as access to the support staff which is there to help you with your transition into business ownership. The same team will be there providing support for you whenever you need it for the life of your business. During your training, you are completely immersed in hands-on training for all aspects of Signarama business ownership.

Sign Production

 We not only train you on material and production methods, but you will also learn everything from basic computer operation to signage design software.


Signarama’s marketing team has developed a programme that includes a wide array of marketing and advertising tools such as direct mailings, brochures, buyer’s guides and the industry’s only signage catalogue. Our team of marketing experts will be available to assist you with your marketing strategy.

 Advertising and Public Relations

During your two weeks of training, a representative from the Signarama corporate headquarters will discuss these valuable programs in detail. From there, the Ad Fund and public relations teams will be available to you for consultation and advisement helping you get the maximum exposure for your business.


One of the fundamentals of successful business management is the ability to maintain accurate and informative financial records. Our team of experts will work with you to learn the ins and outs of financial record keeping and teach you how to use that information to analyse and enhance your store’s performance.

Staff Management

Signarama has spent a great deal of time developing proven techniques for hiring, training and compensating employees. We will teach you the top methods for recruiting and interviewing techniques that will help you find the right employees for your business.


The programme is designed so that it offers advanced education to the experienced business owner and signage specialists and comprehensive instruction for those who have no prior business or signage experience.

Part Two - On-the-Job Training at a Successful, Established Franchise (One Week)

One of the best ways to learn is through hands-on practice. We have some of the most experienced and successful franchisees in the industry and we give you the opportunity to utilise their experience by spending time in their store. Who better to educate you on how things work than someone who has been through it? Through hands-on instruction you will experience the day-to-day activities involved in a Signarama operation.

Part Three - Technical Training at your New Signarama (One Week)

We will be at your store installing and training you on your equipment and software. This is in addition to the training you receive at the corporate headquarters. We will make sure you understand and feel comfortable operating the equipment.

Part Four - Marketing Training at your New Signarama (One Week)

For one week, we will be at your store to help establish your marketing programme and train you on sales and marketing techniques, including the best way to generate new customers, how to market the business, lead organisation, how to write an estimate and how to follow-up with customers. This is in addition to the training you receive at the corporate headquarters.

Running a business for yourself not by yourself

Support when you need it most – As the largest sign franchise in the industry, it’s no surprise that Signarama also employs the largest support staff. We have offices in five countries and support teams for every Signarama location in the world.
At our Central Support Centre in Harrow, we understand that while every Signarama is an individually-owned and operated location, we are always here, supporting you every step of the way, you are never alone in your business.
As we all know, the location of a business is crucial to its success.
Our support team will be there to assist you with careful research and considered guidance before you select your Signarama site, analysing factors such as traffic patterns and client potential. Once all criteria are met and a location has been selected, we can assist in negotiating your lease and your store’s build-out.

It is only when you are comfortable with your location, lease terms and marketing area that we move to the next phase of the process. We assist you in the transition to ownership and the start-up process begins.
